Real Estate Development is Endless

At this point you’re probably all for new real estate development, or you’re totally against it. This at least applies to the residential housing market. The real estate realm hasn’t taken a hit like this since the 70s. While this may be quite beneficial for home buyers, others who are trying to sell a house are hating it. I’ve been in this boat myself. Let me tell you, I was absolutely stoked to sell my home. Although I didn’t profit from the sale, I was simply stoked about getting rid of the abode and breaking even. Yes, the current real estate market really is that bad! If you can sell your home, you should feel blessed.

So why does all the residential real estate development continue. It basically comes down to the builders and contractors wanting to make money. If they are at least able to make some profit, they’ll just keep on building. It’s that simple. This explains the six-year surplus of homes out there today. While new homes are constantly being built, there are not enough home buyers to purchase these houses. This means that new real estate development communities are really hurting the individual home sellers. Since the market has bottomed out, you can’t get back what you put in your home. It doesn’t matter if you’re upset about it. That’s not going to make someone come along and purchase your home at the asking price. It’s important to keep in mind that builders are offering brand new homes at lower prices, plus they are tossing in thousands worth the incentives. They are serious about real estate development projects getting completed and sales being made.
